Briones Staging Area, EBMUD  Scores of skittish Wood Ducks and a pair of Red-tailed Hawks in a courtship display

Hidden Lakes Park, Martinez   Hooded Mergansers, one munching a craw-dad, were a treat

Hayward Shoreline  Sparrows in pickleweed and Sandpipers in mud

Coyote Hills  Marsh and woodland provided a large variety of birds

Canyon Trail Park in El Cerrito (Tuesdays4Birds)   A flock of Cedar Waxwings and some colorful mushrooms

Martin Luther King Shoreline Park in Oakland    A Blue-winged Teal and a swimming Clapper Rail made for a nice day.

Black Diamond Mines    An East Bay Regional Park near Antioch

Valle Vista (Tuesdays4Birds)   The Tuesday morning group covers the same ground as in the gallery below, but sees different birds.
